Slate has a beautiful textured surface, Slate Slabs are usually dark in colour black/green, where the natural slate tiles comes in a variety colours, and it can be cut and polished to the most intricate of shapes.

Slate is durable although like marble, its more porous than granite, slate is ideal for
entrances, flooring, internal cladding, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds and hearths.

Slate is honed given the material a dull sheen rather than a polished look like marble/granite, Slate also available in different thickness 20 + 30mm also in
tile form its available 300 x 300 , 400 x 400, 600 x 400 and 600 x 600mm,
thickness is between 8 and 18mm due to its riven finish.
